Carrier Air Wing Seventeen is comprised of several air squadrons, allowing a wide range of airframes to be rapidly deployed for any mission type. These include rotary airframes for; Transportation, Close Air Support, Medical Evacuation combined with fixed-wing airframes for; Air Superiority, Close Air Support as well as precision strikes for complex or heavily armored targets.
